Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Legal Assistant to join the Litigation Team in a full-time capacity. The role emphasizes confidentiality, organization, and professional handling of complex healthcare matters with NSA and related administrative proceedings.

The position supports in-house attorneys and coordinates discovery, travel, and reporting to ensure timely case progression. Applicants should have at least 2 years of legal support experience with subpoenas and small claims, plus 2 years of research

Qualifications

2+ years of legal support experience with subpoena processing and small claims litigation.
2+ years of research experience.
Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain the litigation matter intake process and track matters in the Legal Tracker system.
Independently manage subpoenas and requests for records from state or government agencies.
Support in-house attorneys on NSA-related matters and administrative proceedings.
Coordinate discovery, issue legal holds, and track deadlines and deliverables.
Provide travel arrangements, process reimbursements, and manage check requests.
Prepare and distribute litigation matter reports for management.
Lead or contribute to special legal projects as needed.
