Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Legal Assistant to join the Litigation Team within the Legal Department. The role involves managing subpoena processing, supporting NSA-related matters, and coordinating discovery, all while handling sensitive information with high professionalism.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of legal support and research experience, a paralegal certificate or equivalent, and knowledge of health care benefits and court systems. Full-time, with benefits and 40-hour weeks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of legal support experience with subpoena processing and small claims litigation.
• 2+ years of research experience.
• Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Health Care benefits and familiarity with state and federal court systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the litigation matter intake process, including opening/closing matters and distributing assignments.
• Independently manage subpoenas and records requests from state/government agencies and other requestors.
• Support in-house attorneys on NSA and other administrative proceedings.
• Coordinate discovery: legal holds, data collection, deadlines, and collaboration with internal/external counsel.
• Provide administrative support: travel arrangements, reimbursements, and check requests for settlements.
