Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all phases of employment law cases, including intake, review, and filing preparation.
• Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law related to employment issues.
• Draft and review pleadings, discovery requests, subpoenas, settlements, and correspondence.
• Manage case files using document management systems (iManage, PCLaw); ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
• Coordinate client interviews and witness statements with professional communication.
• Support litigation by preparing exhibits, timelines, and summaries for hearings or negotiations.
• Monitor deadlines and court schedules to ensure timely filings.
• Assist with compliance audits related to employment laws; compile reports.
• Collaborate with attorneys on project management to streamline workflow.
• Maintain knowledge of evolving employment and related laws (tribal, UCC, workers’ comp, etc.).
