Job summary

The position is onsite in Beverly Hills, CA, with pay negotiable based on experience and a minimum of three years in employment or civil litigation settings. Proficiency with LexisNexis, Westlaw, iManage, and PCLaw is preferred.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certification or equivalent legal support experience.
• Proficiency in LexisNexis and Westlaw; strong analytical skills for statutes and case law.
• Experience with iManage and PCLaw; familiarity with document review processes.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to draft clear legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all phases of employment law cases, including intake, document review, and filing preparations.
• Conduct thorough legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law related to employment issues.
• Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, settlements, and correspondence.
• Manage case files using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw; ensure records are accurate and confidential.
• Coordinate client interviews and witness statements with professional communication standards.
• Prepare exhibits, timelines, and summaries for court proceedings or negotiations.
• Monitor deadlines and court schedules for timely filings and compliance.
• Assist with compliance audits related to employment laws; compile internal reports.
• Collaborate on project management tasks to improve workflow and efficiency.
• Maintain knowledge of developments in tribal law, UCC, workers’ compensation, personal injury, family, securities, patent, environmental, and immigration law.
