Job summary

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP is seeking a Client Development & Engagement Manager - Litigation to drive strategic plans for key Litigation, Investigations, and Regulatory practices. You will lead cross-practice collaboration, support client portfolios, and manage research, proposals, and collateral across multiple channels.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of relevant experience in project management and client relations.
• Experience cultivating and managing client relationships.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a demanding environment.
• Creative and innovative thinker generating value and improving processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication with high discretion.
• Excellent research and analytical abilities.
• Ability to prioritize, strategize and advise with incomplete information.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CDE team, Partners, and client teams to implement business development plans.
• Serve as a senior resource for business and operational support for Litigation practices.
• Develop compelling pitch and proposal materials.
• Design and implement practice and industry initiatives.
• Liaise to maintain up-to-date practice descriptions, capability statements, competitive intelligence.
• Maintain engagement database and deal/case experience across channels.
• Maintain website content and CDE communications across channels.
• Manage creation of marketing collateral with designers and vendors.
• Coordinate firm-sponsored events, webinars, and logistics.
• Prepare directory submissions and survey responses for directories/publications.
• Foster relations with stakeholders and support cross-department engagement.
• Support CDE projects and other firm initiatives; perform other duties as assigned.
