Job summary

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP is seeking a Client Development & Engagement Assistant Manager - Litigation to lead strategic plans for key Litigation, Investigations, and Regulatory practices. You will work with the CDE Director and teams to drive cross-practice collaboration and revenue growth.

The role focuses on managing client relationships, producing compelling materials, and maintaining engagement databases, with opportunities for growth within the firm.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of relevant experience managing complex projects and teams.
• Experience cultivating and managing client relationships.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Litigation CDE team, broader CDE team, Litigation Partners, and select client teams in implementing business development strategies and action plans
• Serve as a key resource for business and operational support functions related to CDE for several practices in the Firm’s Litigation Department
• Develop compelling pitch and proposal materials
• Design and implement practice and industry-related initiatives
• Liaise with CDE team members and Partners to prepare and maintain up-to-date practice descriptions, capability statements, competitive intelligence and other relevant CDE collateral
• Work with CDE team members to accurately maintain the Firm's engagement database and deals and case experience across all channels, as well as other operations and systems
