Farah & Farah in Tallahassee, FL seeks a Litigation Assistant with at least 2 years of legal experience to join our team. You will support attorneys by organizing case files, drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and maintaining case management systems.

The ideal candidate has strong writing and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while complying with deadlines and regulations. This is a full-time onsite role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a litigation or legal support role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and legal case management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by organizing case files and drafting pleadings.
• Prepare discovery documents and manage case management systems to track deadlines.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategy.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel regarding case updates.
• File documents with courts and maintain compliance with regulations.
• Organize trial exhibits and materials.
• Provide general administrative support including scheduling and file management.
