Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Malta, NY, seeks a Process Engineering Technician for D shift nights to monitor, sustain and improve workstation performance in a lean production environment. You will communicate updates to Lead Tech/Engineer and support continuous improvement projects while ensuring manufacturing readiness of equipment and processes.

The role requires a High School degree or equivalent, English fluency, and intermediate computer skills (Excel/Outlook).

Qualifications

• English language fluency (written & verbal) required.
• Intermediate computer skills including Excel and Outlook.
• High School degree or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, control, and test equipment and product for manufacturing readiness.
• Follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks.
• Troubleshoot equipment interruptions, process and factory systems errors.
• Review SPC charts and react to out-of-control conditions including defect troubleshooting.
