Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Process Technician for its Malta site Fab 8. You will monitor and improve workstation performance, coordinate with production and equipment personnel, and ensure production lines run efficiently in a lean manufacturing environment.

Applicants should have a high school degree, English fluency, basic Excel/Outlook skills, and be able to work in a cleanroom and a 12-hour shift cycle. Relocation and benefits are offered where applicable.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Degree (or equivalent).
• English fluency for written and verbal communication.
• Intermediate computer skills including Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and wear required apparel.
• Ability to sit for extended periods during a 12-hour shift, and lift up to 20 lbs.
• Flexible to work 3-4 day alternating weeks (day or night).

Responsibilities

• Monitor, control, and test equipment and product for manufacturing readiness.
• Follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks.
• Troubleshoot equipment interruptions, process, and factory system errors.
• Review SPC charts and react to Out-of-Control conditions and defects.
• Complete event documentation and communicate end-of-shift pass downs.
• Develop and update operating procedures; support training activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and skill development.
• Use new software and factory system applications; work with teams in a fast-paced environment.
