Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Malta is seeking a Maintenance Technician to sustain and improve equipment in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. You will monitor tool performance, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and collaborate with production teams and engineers.

The role requires strong hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, ability to lift 50 lbs, work in cleanroom conditions, and strict adherence to safety policies. English fluency and prior semiconductor experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year technical degree or 4 years relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in semiconductor/manufacturing environment beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment performance and perform preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues in a 24/7 Fab8 environment.
• Communicate status updates to Lead Tech and/or Engineer.
• Follow safety, EH&S, and cleanroom procedures.
