Job summary

GlobalFoundries seeks a Process Technician for its Malta Fab 8 facility. You will monitor, sustain, and improve workstation performance, coordinating with production and equipment teams to keep lines running at peak efficiency under lean manufacturing conditions.

Essential duties include following procedures, troubleshooting equipment issues, and communicating shift updates to the Lead Tech or Engineer. The role requires English fluency, willingness to work alternating 12-hour shifts, and basic

Qualifications

• Requires English fluency (written & verbal).
• Must be able to work in a cleanroom environment with required clothing.
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs and perform 12-hour shifts.
• Able to work any shift (3–4 days alternating weeks).
• Intermediate computer skills including Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, control, and test equipment and product for manufacturing readiness.
• Troubleshoot equipment interruptions, process and factory system errors.
• Review SPC charts and react to Out-of-Control conditions including defect troubleshooting.
• Develop and update operating procedures; support training activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects; communicate updates to Lead Tech/Engineer.
