Eastpointe Community Schools Bellview Elementary in Eastpointe, Michigan seeks an Interventionist for English Language Arts to lead literacy initiatives and improve student outcomes. You will partner with the Principal, Literacy Coaches, and Language Arts Team to advance the Language Arts program and support diverse learners.

Ideal candidates hold a Michigan K-8 teaching certification or are in the process, with a strong background in literacy instruction, classroom management, and family

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Education with English Major, or beyond.
State of Michigan Teaching Certification, grades K-8, or in process.
Knowledgeable in student management techniques; organizational skills; community oriented.
Experience working with a diverse population; successful classroom teaching experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver Literacy instruction and Language Arts programs.
Collaborate with Principal, Literacy Coaches, and Language Arts Team to move the Language Arts program forward.
Differentiate and scaffold instruction to meet each learner's needs.
Engage with families and the community to support literacy progress.
