The Lansing School District seeks a literacy intervention teacher to ensure every student reads on grade level by year end, through pull-out support, tutoring, and data-driven instruction. You will work with school leaders and teachers to deliver world-class ELA instruction in an urban setting, build inclusive classrooms, and provide instructional coaching to colleagues.

In pursuit of this mission, we are hiring new literacy intervention teachers. This individual will ensure no students fall behind in literacy through pull-out support, individual tutoring, and other supplemental work. They will work hand-in-hand with school leadership and teachers to ensure all students read on grade level by the end of the year.
Teachers must work to build inclusive, nurturing classrooms where students can be themselves and work collaboratively towards common learning goals. Teachers will work alongside other teachers, parents, and students to ensure they are providing the best education experience to all students.
This individual will also support other teachers in the building through instructional coaching.
