Job summary

FedEx Corporation seeks a capable operations coordinator in the United States to support pickup and delivery areas by coordinating quality, service and administrative functions. You will dispatch linehaul equipment, verify DOT compliance, review metrics and communicate with contractors and staff to maintain service integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics or related area preferred.
• Administrative support, customer service or dock operations experience preferred.
• Strong communication and data interpretation skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitors facility metrics related to service, safety, cost and quality daily and addresses issues with stakeholders.
• Communicates with ICs/ISPs and temporary staff regarding load plan changes and updates Vision/VRP systems.
• Investigates customer service complaints and ensures follow-up with customers for satisfaction.
• Maintains vehicle maintenance information and ensures DOT and company standards are met for all assets.
• Coordinates dispatch of linehaul equipment and logs dispatch events to ensure timely delivery and pickup.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
