Job summary

Black Walnut Kitchen & Bar is seeking a Kitchen Partner responsible for preparing and assembling meals, setting up and breaking down kitchen stations, and ensuring quality, sanitation, and security across the kitchen area. You will report to the Kitchen Manager and collaborate with store management to meet recipe standards and timely production.

The role emphasizes maintaining cleanliness, following quality systems, and promptly addressing equipment issues to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist in taking care of guest's needs.
• Set up stations for shifts and break down or reset stations after a shift.
• Properly producing the guest's order.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
• Put orders away as they arrive.
• Check product for our quality standards.
• Complete daily checklists and daily par sheets accurately.
• Ensure all food produced meets expectations.
• Shrink / security control.
• Follow systems for quality.
• Alert management to any issues or problems.
• Report malfunctioning equipment to store management.

Job description

A Kitchen Partner can hold many different back of the house jobs including, but limited to Line Cook, Prep Cook, or Dishwasher. The Kitchen Partner reports directly to the Kitchen Manager and all other store management.The Kitchen Partner ensures that all product is made in a timely fashion using recipes set forth by the company.
