Job summary

Flagship Restaurant Group is seeking a line cook to prepare and cook menu items to established quality and presentation standards. You will set up and stock stations, ensure supplies are ready for service, and uphold food safety and sanitation practices.

Work closely with kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided, with opportunities to advance and enjoy dining discounts at our locations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to read, write and follow instructions effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, lift, and walk throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to meet quality and presentation standards.
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies for the shift.
• Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are followed, including proper handling, storage and disposal of food.
• Assist in inventory management including rotating stock and notifying management of low items.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and work with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
