Responsibilities

• Prepares food, sauces, and garnishes for service, including tasks such as chopping vegetables, cooking proteins, and preparing sauces.
• Ensure timely preparation of all food items for service.
• Effective communication with team members and supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of their station throughout preparation and service.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment while producing quality food.

Qualifications

• Food preparation experience.
• Qualifying Certificate in Food Protection (NYC Food Handlers).
• Prior experience as a cook (minimum 1 year).
• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques.
• Familiarity with all phases and operations of the kitchen.
