Job description

Job Summary:

The Waterfront NYC at Bally's Golf Links at Ferry Point is seeking bussers and runners capable of working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Runners and Bussers assist servers while maintaining company standards and proper food serving etiquette. Knowledge of pivot-point seating is required. We aim to provide outstanding customer service and seek team players with strong work ethics, open availability, and a willingness to learn and work.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure food tickets and requests are timely and accurate.
  2. Obtain and distribute supplies as needed.
  3. Maintain proper uniform and appearance.
  4. Maintain knowledge of proper food serving etiquette.
  5. Carry multiple hot plates of food from the kitchen to guests, with or without food trays.
  6. Stay consistent with menu changes and have knowledge of all food dishes.
  7. Maintain knowledge of condiments associated with all food dishes.
  8. Keep stations stocked with polished silverware and plates.
  9. Preset tables with silverware and appetizer plates.
  10. Wrap food to go upon customer request.
  11. Clear tables of empty plates and glasses using proper cleaning products.
  12. Maintain clean work stations.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Starting wage: $11.00; Mid: $12.65; Max: $14.65.

None

Work Environment:

Diverse, fast-paced, deadline-driven, requiring multi-project coordination, prioritization, and flexibility to accommodate last-minute requests and changes.

Physical Demands:

Regularly talking or hearing; using hands for handling objects; occasionally standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Occasionally lifting/moving objects up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and focus adjustment.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read and write English sufficiently for the job.
