Base pay range

$11.00/hr - $11.00/hr

Job Summary
The Waterfront NYC at Bally's Golf Links at Ferry Point is looking for bussers and runners who are capable of working in a fast-paced and team-friendly environment. Runners and Bussers must provide assisted service to Servers while maintaining procedural duties fit to Company standards. Proper food serving etiquette is required, as is knowledge of pivot-point seating. At The Waterfront NYC, we strive to give our customers outstanding service, going above and beyond the call of duty. We are looking for team players with strong work ethics; open availability and a willingness to learn and work is a must.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensures that food tickets and requests of all items are timely and accurate.
  • Obtains and distributes all requested supplies as needed.
  • Must maintain proper and clean uniform and appearance.
  • Maintain knowledge of proper food serving etiquette.
  • Ability to carry multiple hot plates of food with/without food trays from the kitchen to the guests.
  • Must be able to stay consistent with menu changes and have knowledge of all food dishes.
  • Must maintain working knowledge of associated condiments to all food dishes.
  • Keeping stations stocked with polished silverware and plates.
  • Presetting all tables with silverware (roll-ups) and appetizer plates.
  • Wrapping food to go per customer request.
  • Clearing tables of empty plates/glasses and using proper cleaning products.
  • Maintain clean work stations.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Start $11.00, mid $12.65, Max $14.65

Work Environment: Diverse, fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-project coordination, prioritizing and flexing to accommodate last minute requests and changes.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
