Raines Co. on Saint Simons Island is seeking a Line Cook to set up, cook and maintain quality while adhering to health department guidelines. The role includes food preparation, safe handling, and plate presentation in a high-demand kitchen.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in hotels or restaurants, with required certifications (Food Handler, CPR, ServSafe) and a high school diploma or GED. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401K and PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in hotels, restaurants or related fields.
• Line Cook or similar experience preferred.
• Certifications as required by Federal, State, or Local agencies.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Set up, stock and organize workstation and prep areas.
• Prepare items according to menu standards, portions and labeling guidelines.
• Use kitchen tools safely and efficiently (knives, scales, mixers, ovens, etc.).
• Check stock levels in coolers, report shortages and order as needed using FIFO.
• Plate foods per standard plating with garnishments and quantities.
• Maintain cleanliness, inventory and organization; perform side duties.
