Barcelona Wine Bar in Tampa, Florida is seeking a Line Cook to prepare food according to the Executive Chef’s specifications. You will manage all food stations during menu execution, ensuring timely and high-quality food preparation.

The ideal candidate will have cooking experience, understand menu items, and have the ability to multitask in a high-volume kitchen. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or culinary degree and at least 1-2 years in the food service industry.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in food service or hospitality.
• Food handler's card may be required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock all food stations with necessary supplies.
• Prep all needed food items for service.
• Execute menu items according to specifications and standards.
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
• Ensure that all food is made timely and high quality.
• Clean up station and take care of leftover or 'bad' food.
• Stock inventory of stations.
• Certify that all nutrition and sanitation regulations are kept.
