Loverboy is hiring a Line Cook in San Antonio, TX. You are a team player responsible for preparing all items per recipes, maintaining cleanliness, and enabling timely guest service. You will work with the kitchen team to ensure quality and presentation from prep through plating.

The role requires 1+ year in a high-volume setting, a Food Handlers certificate, and strong customer service and reliability. This part-time position supports a dynamic hospitality concept opening soon.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must possess a Food Handlers certification before start date.
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Punctual and reliable attendance required.
• Experience in a high-volume environment preferred.
• Professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards.
• Attention to detail and passion for serving guests.
• Positive and professional attitude at all times.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow prep list daily to prep items for your station.
• Assist with setting up and stocking kitchen stations.
• Label, date and stock items; organize ingredients.
• Measure ingredients accurately according to recipes.
• Maintain clean and sanitized kitchen areas and utensils.
• Prepare food items per recipes and ensure high quality.
• Plate food according to recipes with clean presentation.
• Collaborate with expo and staff to complete orders on time.
• Wash and store utensils and equipment after shifts.
• Ensure food safety standards and regulations are met.
