Job summary

Loverboy, a new restaurant concept in San Antonio, seeks a kitchen team member to support prep, salads, and assembly of entrees for a high-volume environment. You will label and stock items, maintain cleanliness, and assist cooks to ensure smooth service.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with strong customer service, reliability, and a professional appearance. Prior kitchen experience preferred, with ability to stand for long periods and lift items as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume establishment.
• Well-groomed and professionally dressed following uniform standards.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry items.

Responsibilities

• Follow prep list daily to prep items for the shift.
• Label, date and stock items in walk-in cooler.
• Measure ingredients according to spec.
• Wash, chop and sort produce, fruits, vegetables, and meats.
• Prepare salads, guacamole and items per recipes.
• Perform basic cooking tasks and sauce reduction.
• Set up salad prep area and station with inserts.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and utensils.
• Keep sanitizer bucket ready at station.
• Assist other cooks to open stations properly.
• Prepare tortillas and heat items as needed.
• Assist with kitchen clean-up and closing tasks.
