Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and standards.
• Begin prep for items to avoid over-preparing estimated needs.
• Date and rotate food items; keep perishables at proper temperatures.
• Check pars, plan for shortages, and set up the line.
• Return unused items to storage with proper dating.
• Assist in controlling food cost and waste per standards.
• Operate, maintain and clean kitchen tools and equipment.
• Practice safe work habits and follow safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
