Job summary

Isla Bella Beach Resort in Marathon, FL, is seeking a Line Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare and cook menu items in a fast-paced resort kitchen, upholding high standards for quality, food safety, and presentation.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of line cook experience, works well under pressure, and enjoys teamwork in a hospitality setting. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of line cook or prep cook experience.
• Restaurant/hotel/resort kitchen experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Some English language skills for kitchen communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Set up and maintain assigned station for service
• Ensure food is cooked to order and presented properly
• Prepare meats, seafood, vegetables, and other ingredients for service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation
• Assist with kitchen prep and daily food production
• Monitor food quality and portion control
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
• Help reduce waste and assist with inventory control
• Work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen team members
