Job summary

Isla Bella Beach Resort in Marathon, FL is seeking a Line Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare and cook menu items in a fast-paced resort kitchen while upholding high standards for quality, food safety, and presentation.

The ideal candidate has restaurant or hotel kitchen experience, handles pressure well, and takes pride in delivering great food to guests.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience as Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or hotel kitchen.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Some English language skills for kitchen communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Set up and maintain assigned station for lunch and/or dinner service.
• Ensure food is cooked to order and presented properly.
• Prepare meats, seafood, vegetables, and other ingredients for service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation.
• Assist with kitchen prep and daily food production.
• Monitor food quality and portion control.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Help reduce waste and assist with inventory control.
• Work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen team members.
