Job summary

Advanced Hospitality Systems is opening a brand-new upscale restaurant in Newington, CT and seeks an experienced Line Cook. You’ll prep and execute high-quality items across Hot Line, Pizza Line, Garde Manger, and Dessert, following recipes and standards to ensure consistency.

You will uphold food safety, maintain clean, stocked stations, and collaborate closely with the team for fast, accurate service. Weekly pay and eligible benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a line cook or similar culinary role.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety.
• Pizza dough experience is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute high-quality menu items with consistency and attention to detail.
• Operate across Hot Line, Pizza Line, Garde Manger, and Dessert stations.
• Plate dishes according to recipes and standards; monitor portioning and presentation.
• Maintain sanitation, tool cleanliness, and organized workstations throughout service.
• Follow recipes, build sheets, and prep procedures; assist with opening/closing duties.
• Communicate with kitchen and front-of-house on timing, par levels, and quality.
