Job summary

Global Partners LP is hiring a Line Cook 2 in Connecticut. You will work with our culinary team to prep ingredients, wash and cut produce, and prepare sauces for service. The role requires basic knife skills, attention to safety, and the ability to work flexible hours including mornings, weekends, and holidays.

ServSafe certification is preferred or must be obtained. You’ll support inventory communication with the Chef, maintain a clean station, and assist in training new hires while delivering

Qualifications

• Basic knife and food preparation skills.
• Must obtain ServSafe certification; high school diploma or GED.
• Flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prep, wash and chop vegetables; cut meat and other ingredients.
• Label and stock ingredients; keep workspace organized and safe.
• Prepare sauces or accompaniments before service; assist in training new hires.
• Interact with guests and demonstrate hospitality; communicate inventory needs to Chef.
• Follow safe food handling procedures and proper storage temperatures; rotate stock.
• Wash dishes and keep kitchen clean and sanitary.
