Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel is looking for a cook to prepare and cook food items in a high-quality manner. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in a casual full-service Asian kitchen and must be able to maintain a clean and safe workspace adhering to health regulations. Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a line cook in a casual full service Asian restaurant.
• Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission.
• Completion of culinary arts courses is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparing and cooking all food items safely and in a timely manner.
• Produce from standardized recipes and ensure stations are prepared for the day.
• Maintain high quality of food in a fast-paced environment and follow sanitation guidelines.

Skills

Ability to use all kitchen equipment and appliances

Ability to read and write basic instructions

Knowledge of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

Ability to be creative with cooking and food preparation

Ability to communicate in English and fluently in another Asian language

Education

High school diploma or equivalent GED
