Live! Casino Virginia is seeking a culinary professional to prepare all food items, season and garnish, and manage soups and sauces in a fast-paced casino kitchen.

You will maintain a clean cooking area, monitor inventory, and uphold safety standards for employees and guests. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, culinary coursework or equivalent experience, and the ability to obtain required licenses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Culinary arts courses or equivalent experience.
• Culinary education or 1–2 years of experience in a casual full service restaurant or establishment.
• Must work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
• Must be able to secure and maintain licensure as required by Virginia Gaming Control Board or applicable regulatory entity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items and maintain item temperatures.
• Season and garnish food.
• Prepare soups and sauces.
• Keep cooking area clean and orderly.
• Maintain inventory and daily food orders.
• Ensure safety and security of employees and guests.
• Monitor performance relative to local competition.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
