Job summary

Rocky Gap Casino Resort is seeking a dedicated line cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare, season, finish, and garnish dishes according to established recipes, while maintaining sanitation and proper storage.

We value teamwork, guest service, and reliable performance in a fast-paced environment. A High School Diploma or equivalent and ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain) are required. Must be 18+ and able to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and present a neat appearance.
• Team player with efficient work ethic.
• Ability to apply common sense to various situations.
• Proven experience providing high level guest service.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions in English; write simple correspondence.
• Willing to work all shifts.
• Able to verify right to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season, finish, and garnish all food according to recipes.
• Maintain refrigeration and dry storage areas and rotate stock.
• Keep stations clean and properly covered and stored.
• Follow recipes, specs, and control procedures.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary area in accordance with health regulations.
• Assist guests with requests.
• Run a station or multiple stations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
