Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality's Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix seeks a Cook II to maintain and set up food production and quality control of meats, fish, poultry, sauces, stocks, and seasonings across kitchen stations.

The role requires at least two years of cooking experience, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and apprenticeship or culinary school background is preferred. Evening/night shifts, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an Apprenticeship or accredited Culinary School, preferred.
• Experience in a professional, fast-paced kitchen is required; two or more years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and/or as specified on guest checks to ensure consistency of product.
• Visually inspect and select food items; maintain quality and proper storage.
• Keep refrigeration and work areas clean and compliant with health regulations.
• Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items for production.
• Read and follow recipes using math skills; work as part of a team.
• This is a full-time position with availability to work evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
