Courtyard/Residence Inn Jekyll Island is seeking a Cook to transform the executive chef's vision into high-quality dishes across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquets. You will thrive in a busy kitchen, uphold safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a cohesive kitchen team.

Roles vary by station from Pantry/Prep to Lead, with opportunities to train others, master techniques, and maintain consistent food quality for guests and events.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of prior cooking experience in a hotel kitchen preferred.
• Culinary training in a college setting preferred.
• Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Physical requirement: exert up to 50 lb occasionally / 20 lb frequently.
• Must multitask with good English communication.

Responsibilities

• Train/assist teammates as needed and prepare high-quality dishes.
• Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner and banquets following guidelines.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized, following sanitation procedures.
• Support safety and security policies and procedures.
