Job summary

Jekyll Island Club Resort in Georgia is seeking an experienced H-2B Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare high-quality meals according to recipes, support daily kitchen operations, and work closely with leadership to ensure consistency and exceptional food quality across outlets.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume kitchen environments.
• Ability to follow established recipes and quality standards.
• Strong communication with chefs and kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season, and cook a variety of items per recipes and resort standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment (grills, ovens, fryers, broilers, etc.).
• Set up and maintain cooking stations before, during, and after service.
• Ensure proper temperatures, portions, and presentation of dishes.
• Keep workstation clean, sanitary, and organized per safety standards.
• Label, date, rotate, and store food according to procedures.
• Assist with food prep for dining, banquets, and events.
• Communicate effectively with culinary team to ensure timely service.
