Job summary

Noble House Hotels & Resorts invites you to join the culinary team at the Jekyll Island Club Resort and Jekyll Ocean Club Resort. As a Line Cook, you will prepare high-quality menu items and maintain kitchen standards with the culinary leadership.

Work closely with Chefs de Partie, Sous Chefs, and fellow cooks to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent preparation, plating, and service. This on-site role emphasizes cleanliness and teamwork in a vibrant resort setting on Jekyll Island.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Set up and maintain assigned workstations with ingredients and equipment.
• Follow proper food preparation techniques including cutting, grilling, sautéing, frying, baking.
• Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner while maintaining quality.
• Communicate with other kitchen stations and leadership to support kitchen operations.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, hygiene, and organization throughout the kitchen.
• Monitor stock and communicate low items to culinary leadership.
• Follow health, safety, sanitation, and food-handling standards.
• Label, date, rotate, and store food properly to maintain freshness.
• Minimize food waste by proper preparation, portioning, storage and handling.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, organizing, and rotating food products and kitchen supplies.
• Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and side-work responsibilities as assigned.
• Assist other kitchen stations and culinary team members as operational needs require.
