Job summary

Youth For Tomorrow New Life Center Inc. seeks a full-time kitchen cook to prepare meals for residents and staff in a residential program. Responsibilities include food prep, serving, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness to health standards.

The role requires the ability to work with minimal supervision, knowledge of food safety, and a minimum age of 21. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus. CPR/First Aid training and ongoing trainings are provided by YFT.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Bilingual Spanish/English helpful for interaction with residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast, lunch and/or dinner for residents and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, pantry, and dining areas per health standards.
• Assist with receiving, sorting and storing food orders; manage expiration dates.
