Job summary

Trinity Youth Services is seeking a qualified, full-time Food Service Worker (Assistant Cook) to join its residential team. You will assist in meal preparation, adhere to health standards, and document meal counts to ensure every resident and staff member receives a meal.

You will also wash dishes, manage production logs, and participate in departmental meetings. A valid California driver’s license and the ability to drive are required.

Qualifications

• Must communicate clearly and concisely in English, orally and in writing.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in following posted menus and prepare meals per recipes.
• Maintain safety and health standards and comply with local/state requirements.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and serveware; manage meal counts and reconciliation with administration.
• Keep production and temperature logs and other required documentation.
• Drive a vehicle when necessary and coordinate with Kitchen Supervisor on inventory.
