Job summary

Pathway Family Service is seeking a full-time Assistant Cook to prepare and serve nutritious meals for youth in a residential setting. You will work in the kitchen and cafeteria, ensuring meals are prepared to meet dietary needs while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Ideal candidates enjoy cooking, value nutrition and health, communicate openly with children and adults, and can work independently or as part of a team. Driver's license and agency driving eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and knowledgeable about the nutritional needs of children up to age 18.
• Must have a valid driver's license and meet agency underwriting standards if driving on agency business.
• Ability to keep a clean and organized kitchen and work well independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve 3 meals a day for youth in a residential setting.
• Cook, organize, clean, and manage daily kitchen operations in the cafeteria.
