Job summary

Rite of Passage Team is hiring a Cook at The Lewisville Juvenile Treatment Center (L.J.T.C.) in Lewisville, Arkansas. You will ensure that healthy and tasty food is prepared and served to the youth and staff on-site, help maintain the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen and dining area, and be an active team player within the department.

Training will be provided, however if you have Serv-Safe certification you may start above entry-level. Schedule: AM 4:30 AM – 1:00 PM; PM 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or better.
• Be at least 21 years old and able to pass background checks.
• Able to pass drug, TB tests and registry checks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare healthy meals for youth and staff on-site.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety at all times.
• Be an active team player within the department. Training provided; certification may start above entry-level.
