Soho House Malibu is seeking a Line Cook I to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, preparing food and sauces, and assisting Senior Chefs during service. You thrive in fast-paced environments and help the team stay calm under pressure.

A successful Line Cook I is a critical member of the team, delivering top-quality dishes from prep to plate and contributing to a high standard across all stations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years' experience in a fast pace, upscale environment.
• Strong professional cooking and knife handling skills.
• Ability to execute all menu items across stations and deliver quality dishes.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Produce consistent quality dishes on all stations in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Prepare pantry, fry station and other areas while honoring allergy requests.
• Assist with inventory to support sustainable food costs.
• Set up stations per guidelines and maintain a clean, organized area.
• Monitor wastage and temps to control costs and protect margins.
• Execute production and a-la-carte dishes; support training of new staff.
• Collaborate with leadership and other cooks to maintain standards.
