Wind Creek Hospitality is seeking a Line Cook in East Hazel Crest, Illinois. You will prepare food to order, set up line stations, and assemble dishes from pantry, grill, broiler, sauté, and garde manger stations, while upholding quality and safety standards.

Applicants should have at least two years of high-volume cooking experience and be able to work as part of a team while following recipes and preparation lists. Serve Safe sanitation training is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of high-volume cooking experience required.
• Must read and understand English instructions and recipes.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Slice, dice, and chop fruits, vegetables, cheeses, and meats.
• Prepare dressings, sauces, and canapés according to recipes.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely following safety guidelines.
• Read and follow recipes; rotate products and maintain quality.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized and ensure sanitation standards.
