Job summary

Landry's, LLC. in Laughlin, NV is seeking a Cook responsible for preparing all menu items according to recipes, ensuring high-quality food and timely service.

You will inspect ingredients, maintain inventory, follow safety and sanitation procedures, and support all stations as needed. Flexible shifts and opportunities for advancement are offered.

This is a non-tipped role; candidates must be at least 18, have 1 year high-volume kitchen experience, and be able to obtain a Food Handler's card.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• 1 year experience in a high-volume kitchen.
• Able to obtain a Food handler’s card (HLTH card) and any other required licenses.
• Possess basic mathematical skills for portions and inventory.
• Available to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to established specifications and standardized recipes.
• Inspect equipment, cold meats, seafood, and produce to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain established inventory levels and order stock.
• Ensure proper product rotation, storage, and quantity controls.
• Consistently apply established safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assist all stations and respective lines as necessary.
• Read, decipher and execute cooking procedures and plate specifications.
