Job summary

Puttshack Career Center in Nashville is seeking a Line Cook to join our hospitality team. You will prepare, plate and garnish menu items, and set up the station with strong sanitation practices to meet the Executive Chef’s exacting standards.

The ideal candidate has prior high-volume kitchen experience, can multitask under pressure, and communicates clearly with Culinary Leadership. Flexible shifts and a collaborative environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old to apply.
• Prior high-volume restaurant kitchen experience.
• Ability to read a thermometer and follow food tickets.
• Must hold any licenses or certifications required by state/local.
• Must communicate clearly and multitask in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up station and maintain sanitation standards.
• Prepare, assemble, and plate menu items according to recipes.
• Follow portioning controls and par levels.
• Communicate food delays or issues to Culinary Leadership.
• Ensure items leaving the station are accurate and safe.
