Job summary

Puttshack is seeking a Line Cook to support our fast-paced, guest-focused kitchen. You will prepare, plate, and garnish menu items, ensuring each plate meets the Executive Chef's standards and sanitation requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old to apply.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant kitchen is required.
• Experience operating, cleaning and maintaining kitchen tools and appliances.
• Must obtain any licenses or certifications per state/local requirements.
• Ability to communicate clearly to perform tasks safely and effectively.
• Able to multitask calmly in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Bring your 'A' Game each and every day.
• Ensure guest experience exceeds expectations and anticipate needs.
• Follow portioning controls and par levels.
• Prepare, assemble, and plate items per recipes or requests.
• Communicate delays or issues to Culinary Leadership.
• Read thermometer and tickets accurately and efficiently.
• Account for all items leaving a station.
• Follow food allergy procedures and special orders.
• Comply with safety and sanitation guidelines including MSDS.
• Take direction and be a team player.
• Follow employment policies and proceed with duties in the handbook.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and side-work as needed.
