Job summary

Puttshack USA is seeking a Line Cook to prepare, produce, plate and garnish menu items to the Executive Chef's exacting standards. You will set up the station and maintain sanitation while helping deliver an elevated guest experience.

Shifts include 10:00am-4:00pm Thursday through Sunday with flexibility. We open 7 days, with varied hours, and offer competitive pay plus health coverage and extra benefits. Must be 18+ with high-volume kitchen experience and teamwork mindset.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age to apply.
• Prior experience in high volume restaurant kitchen.
• Experience operating, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen tools and appliances such as knives, grills, etc.
• Must obtain any licenses or certifications per state and/or local requirements.
• Ability to communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements safely and effectively.
• Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, and plate menu items according to prescribed recipes and/or special requests.
• Communicate food delays or issues to Culinary Leadership.
• Ability to read a thermometer and food tickets correctly and efficiently.
• Accurately account for all items coming out of a station.
• Understand and follow food allergy procedures and special orders/restrictions.
• Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures, including MSDS.
• Take direction and be a team player.
• Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Associate Handbook.
• Other projects or duties as assigned, including but not limited to side-work, opening, and closing duties.
