Job summary

Puttshack is seeking a Line Cook to join its hospitality team, preparing, producing, plating and garnishing menu items to meet Executive Chef's standards. Open 7 days a week with varying hours; you'll set up the station, maintain sanitation, and collaborate with Culinary Leadership to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Previous high-volume kitchen experience and the ability to multitask are essential to thrive in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age to apply.
• Prior experience in high volume restaurant kitchen.
• Experience operating, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen tools and appliances such as knives, grills, etc.
• Must obtain any licenses or certifications per state and/or local requirements.
• Ability to communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements safely and effectively.
• Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Bring your 'A' Game each and every day.
• Ensure overall guest experience exceeds expectations and anticipate guests needs.
• Follow all prescribed portioning controls and par levels.
• Prepare, assemble, and plate menu items according to prescribed recipes and/or special requests.
• Communicate food delays or issues to Culinary Leadership.
• Ability to read a thermometer and food tickets correctly and efficiently.
• Accurately account for all items coming out of a station.
• Understand and follow food allergy procedures and special orders/restrictions.
• Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures, including MSDS.
• Take direction and be a team player.
• Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Associate Handbook.
• Other projects or duties as assigned, including but not limited to side-work, opening, and closing duties.
