Job summary

Dave & Buster's/Main Event Entertainment is seeking a Line Cook to prepare delicious menu items and uphold our safety and quality standards. You will work with prep recipes, equipment and service teams to deliver a memorable guest experience.

The role requires 6 months of Line Cook/Prep Cook experience, 18+ with Food Handlers Certification, and a strong focus on teamwork and accuracy. Expect a fast-paced environment with opening, mid-day or closing shifts and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of Line Cook and/or Prep Cook experience.
• 18+ years of age; Food Handlers Certification, as required.
• Comply with the company uniform standards.
• Always be ready to create a memorable guest experience.
• Teamwork is a must (Remember, teamwork makes the dream work!).
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!).
• Prepping and cooking all menu items according to recipes standards
• Helping minimize food waste by creating proper portions, staying vigilant for ticket errors, and communicating with expo
• Partnering with the service team to ensure food is accurate, delivered fresh and in a timely manner
• Adhering to all company and health department food safety procedures
• Properly and safely operating kitchen equipment
• Maintaining a clean and stocked station before, during and after each shift
• Performing opening, mid-day or closing duties as assigned
