Job summary

Dave & Buster's/Main Event Entertainment is hiring a Line Cook in a fast-paced kitchen. You will prep and cook items to standard recipes, maintain cleanliness and safety, and work with the service team to deliver fresh, correctly portioned dishes.

This role requires attention to detail, reliability and the ability to thrive under pressure. At least 6 months of Line/Prep Cook experience is expected, with 18+ years and a Food Handlers Certification where required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of Line Cook and/or Prep Cook experience.
• 18+ years of age; Food Handlers Certification as required.
• Comply with uniform standards and safety procedures.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Upholding cleanliness and safety standards.
• Prepping and cooking all menu items according to recipes standards.
• Minimize food waste by portioning correctly and communicating with expo.
• Partner with service team to ensure timely, fresh, accurate menu items.
• Adhere to health department procedures and safely operate kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a clean, stocked station before, during, and after shifts.
• Perform opening, mid-day or closing duties as assigned.
