Job summary

IHOP Restaurants LLC is seeking a Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare all menu items to recipe standards, set up the station, maintain quality, and ensure timely service in a fast-paced casual restaurant environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in casual dining, a high school diploma or GED, and current alcohol/food certifications where required. Strong teamwork, communication, and the ability to stay on your feet are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Casual Restaurant industry.
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• Current alcohol and food certifications that meet state requirements are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.

Responsibilities

• Set up the cook’s station and complete prep work.
• Prepare all menu items according to recipes, plate presentations, and specifications.
• Maintain product quality and cook time standards.
• Verify stock and clean cooking equipment.
• Cross-train and learn other kitchen positions.
