Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group is seeking a Line Cook to uphold high quality standards for each dish in a team-oriented kitchen. You will prepare, stock, and maintain cuisine while following portion sizes and procedures to ensure consistency and guest satisfaction.

You will maintain a clean, sanitary workstation, adhere to all safety regulations, and assist in closing duties as needed. The role requires flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years experience in kitchen preparation and line cook experience.
• Must be able to speak, read and understand basic cooking directions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests.
• A flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Constant standing/walking with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepares, stocks, and maintains the highest quality cuisine for guests, adhering to portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area including all kitchen equipment and follows cleanliness regulations.
• Closes the kitchen properly and assists others in closing.
• Promptly report all shortages, equipment problems or food quality issues to Chef.
